Practice Transaction Control Language (TCL) commands (Grant, revoke, commit, rollback and save point options) 5. Development of sample applications using Oracle/ MySql / MongDB as back end. Sample applications may include I. Payroll Information II. Student Information System III. Bank Transaction IV. Library Information System etc.

Ms. Deepa Mary Mathews had her post graduation in Computer Applications (MCA) from Madurai Kamaraj University, and gained second post graduation in M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr M G R Educational and Research Institute, in the year 2006. She is currently pursuing Ph.D in Mahatma Gandhi University and her research area includes Data Mining, Social Data Analytics and Machine Learning. She has published 11 research papers in the International Journals, National and International Conferences including IEEE and Springer. She has over 14 years of teaching experience and has been associated with FISAT since the inception of the Department of Computer Applications in FISAT. Her earlier teaching was at St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva. Over a period of time, she has taught various subjects including Data Mining and Warehousing, Web Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Digital Fundamentals, Linux and Shell Programming, Programming in C, Digital System and Computer Hardware, Computer Organization and Architecture, Microprocessors And Embedded Systems, Database Management Systems, Data Structures and Internet Technology And Distributed Applications
