The purpose of this course is to prepare learners to understand the communication entities and the associated issues in the field of Computer Science. This course covers fundamental concepts of data transmission & media, digital & analog transmissions, multiplexing & spread spectrum, error detection & correction and switching.
Concepts in data communication help the learner to understand the concepts in networking and mobile communication.
